door chime/seat belt chime... going crazy! 740 turbo 700

Ever since I took out my front passenger seat and pulled off the passenger side door panel my chime in the car will not shut off while the car is running... please help.... I dont know if it has to do with the seat or the door..... 86' 740 turbo

The little switch in the door jam on the drivers side that makes the lights and door chime come on, open door, push it in and turn it a quarter of a turm clockwise. That will fix it.

by the way its the blue relay to the far back left of the relay panal, ive pulled it on all three of my volvos.

This option may not be for you, but I always pull the chime from every vehicle I've owned. Just locate the relay under the dash by allowing the chime to go off and "feel" around for the relay that is vibrating in time with the chime. Pull the sucker, store in glove box. Nothing else fits in there anyway.

Surely, by removing this relay you remove the ticking for the indicators too?
