ANY color so long as it isn't silver or grey! These seem to be low visibility anyway, but especially on bricks. I lost count of the close calls on my '85 245, it survived 5 minor hits, and was totalled by the third rear end collision. I only had it TWO years. My dk Blue 244 has no such probs.

Silver and Grey suck and I agree!! Modern colors generally are too conservative! 200 1986

I have a white 245 and like it and rumors say that white is the safest color according to gov. reports (why Govt. cars are white?!) I've almost driven into a few grey cars myself.

If I had the money and choice I'd try a pearlized off-white with megenta/purple tints. But I also really like radical colors suddenly getting in vogue again like solid oranges, reds, and yellows of a modern off color hue. Red's "cool" on stock 240s.... but I also like some of the more interesting Old Volvo colors like Butterscotch!! which some old 1800s had.

Black's macho.... but scratchs easy and gets hot and is really too common and trite IMO. White's a safe bet and a good basic.
