What is the button for on the end of the wiper lever? 200

so what does the button at the end of my windshield wiper lever do?

I can't for the life of me figure it out

and how about the switch on top of the windshield wiper lever?

it is a 3 position switch with some pictures that look to be intermittent wiper speeds but they don't do anything... probably broke...

can anyone tell me if that switch is supposed to change the speed of the intermittent wipers?

thanks

That would explain why it's not doing anything...

my rear window/tailgate needs full replacement!

who knowsiwhat really might work if there was any metal to hold the wires in place!

thanks

You might have a look down into the hinges to see if the wires going through there are broken. There are three or four on each side. New harnesses are available on line. They power the wiper, license lights, de-fogger, and high level brake light.

Good Luck,

Bob

In the 240 wagon the button is for misting the rear window and the switch is for the rear wiper full/intermitent.

If its anything like my wagon I'd guess that the switch is meant to control the rear wiper and the button is for spraying fluid on the rear window.
