Smething Funny with the break lamp inside the cabin 900

I was going to replace the bulb inside the break lamp inside the cabin. I read the manual and it said to pry it off with flat screwdriver. I did and the whole thing came off. It does not look like you can open the lamp. So why do I feel like that there is no bulb inside this contraption. I have a 92 960, Is it because I had the first year model?

Just went out to mu car (91 744) There is a small slot on the underside of the Third brake light. That is the latch that holds the housing to the lens on mine. Hope this helps.
