I’m in the Seattle area trying to find some of the hexagonal shaped front door speaker assemblies from a 90-93 240, but having no luck what so ever. I’ve tried a couple of the local salvage yards, and have yet to even see a 90+ 240 in one. I’d really like to get some in the next week or two so I can toss the 5 1/4” speakers I have in mind into my Wagon. I’m even willing to pay a fair amount for them. But where can I find them?

I’d go to a Volvo dealer, but I have a feeling that even if they could get them, they’d charge me for new speakers and that can NOT be even reasonably priced.

Anyone, anywhere in North America, have any leads on them?

Try looking up B&D auto parts here in Massachusetts. They had quite a few last time I was there, that's where I got mine, in fact. Now they don't let you wander around in their yard, but that doesn't matter to you! They do mail order stuff. Sorry, I don't have the URL.

Also you could try the big yards in the Southwest like www.revolvstore.com, or places like www.volvoworld.com

Hey Matt, B&D doesn't let people in anymore, but they do mail order, so you can give them a call, and they should be able to help you out directly. Take a look at the "shops" section of the Brickboard, I think B&D is listed in there.

Oh yeah, keep in mind that you will need the grilles, and you will also need the plastic mount that is riveted to the door panel.
