A/C compressor by Sanyo. Any good? 200

My A/C compressor has seized up on me. My mechanic says he found a Sanyo A/C and claims that it is a really good one. Does anyone know about the quality of this type of compressor?

Have had one in the past---good stuff. Believe there is crossover in names used on the various compressors from Japan. Sankyo, Sanyo etc.
