1987 Volvo 760 Turbo : Turbo problems. 700

About 3 months ago, My turbo in this car stopped working... Left it sit for a while, didn't really want to bother with it. So today, I went out, and I took the intake hose off my turbo... I found 2 things out, maybe this means something to any of you - I'm not a turbo expert myself.

1.) There is quite a large hole in the side of the intake hose
2.) The Compressor blades do not spin...

ANy help? What's this mean... heh

The hole is probably the real thing to fix. But how would you know the compressor side doesn't spin? Did you try spinning it with your fingers? By know, it wouldn't spin freely but I expect your exhaust can turn it, once you get the new hose on.
