Wanting to sell 760 700 1990

Not having much luck in local paper. Need advice.
1990 760 Turbo, 122000 mi, black with beige leather, body in good shape & runs good.

Gas guage is inoperative (without a good rap), front seats have light cracking, turbo is great except for a 4500rpm bog. Everything else works good and it looks good.

Asking $3700.

Am I on target or just loading the wrong bullets?

Where are you located? I could not access your email address.

Your car is not a wagon by any chance?

You could add snow tires and advertise it as a good, safe car for winter.

Wanting to sell 760 700 1990

I sold my everything working, no rust, dents, etc., 90' 760 sedan last fall for $3000. It had 124K on it at the time. Turbo had 40k on it. I could get no takers at $3700. It should have been worth more, but with the low interest financing many people are buying new cars. Most people around here(northern Chicago suburb) trade in their cars and the only people buying used ones want to steal it. Good luck with your sale.

I think it's a good price...I wouldn't sell my 1990 740T for less than $5K with 120K on it.

Shouldn't have a 4500rpm bog...sounds like a vacuum/pressure leak or perhaps time for new plugs/distributor cap&rotor and sparkplug wires. These engines are about bulletproof.

Take a few digital pictures and upload to a yahoo/geocities free website and try selling it here...on the classified ads section where you pay for the privilege.
