sway bar to end link... 200 1983

Hi all!
I replaced the sway bars on my GL with a set from a donor Turbo model. Wow! I didn't think a small difference in the bar diameter will make such a difference. Anyway, I wasn't so sure if I did the nut on the end link to sway bar right, as far as torque. Is there a torque value for this? I got a Haynes manual but it's not so clear. How far do those rubber bushings/grommets have to be compressed? Thanks all!
Denny

Denny,

When I did mine, I tightened the nuts just enough so that the bushings (rubber not polyurethane ones) squished to about the same diameter as the washers. Seems to work fine.
