Burned out buld indicator on dash 700 1990

Sitting at a stoplight yesterday with my right turn signal on I noticed the "burned out buld" indicator light on the dash flashing in sync with the turn signal flasher. Upon returning home none of the bulbs were burned out even though the "burned out bulb" light was flashing while checking it. It hasn't done it today.

Any ideas?

There may be corrosion which is causing an intermittent failure. Check both sockets (front and back) on the offending side.
