Help! Have 87 760 T that runs rich. Especially during acceleration, it blows black smoke. Have changed fuel pressure regulator, no change. George

Check all the hoses between the turbo and the throttle body - especially at the bottom of each hoses. Look for oil leakage which will indicate failure of the hose.
