Has anyone heard of OEM wheels called "Amaltea"? They are 17" alloys for the FWD V/C70s - an option in 2001. Questions are: Is the bolt pattern the same as on 700/900s, ie, will they fit my 760 or 940, and, if so, how thick spacers are needed? Dealer here says they are about half the cost of Hydras but has no further info . . . go figure!

I've never seen these wheels on a V70, but they are on some of the S80 2.9T6 models. Not all, but I've seen a few with them. Being part of the front drive family, you'll need spacers or adapters to mount on the rear-drive car. The bolt circle is right, but the back spacing makes the wheel hit things like the strut tower and the body. They'd look cool on a 740 I think.

There is a set of these wheels on sale on e-bay. In the search area type in volvo wheels and you should be able to find them. Or try this link, maybe it will work. At least you'll be able to see them. Other than that I know nothing about them, but they looked nice.
