H2O on passenger side 200 1983

Both the '83 and the 85 are getting wet from the weekend's rain. Both cars have wet floors JUST on the passenger sides. Sealed up the windshields real well early spring. Summer's drought helped to forget about the problem until the rains came again this weekend. Cannot find the common H2O route. Door gaskets look OK....and the nor'easter's commin'!!!!! Help!
Thanx, Mike in Pa.

The Vent directly in front of the windshield drains into the rocker panels on each side of the car. Over time the rocker panels can fill up with crud and leaves clogging the drains that are evenly spaced along the bottom of the rocker. I'll Admit, I didnt know what rocker panels were for the longest time, dont be afraid to ask) Pull up the carpet and you will notice several silver dollar sized plastic plugs. Pop these plugs and clean out the rocker panels. (not a fun job!) You could have rusted rocker panels which is allowing the water to drain faster into the car instead of out the drains. Clean out the rocker panel drains from below with a thin screwdriver as well.

Sunroof, make sure the 4 sunroof drains are not clogged (one in each corner), use a watering can to dump water into each drain and watch for the water to exit at the corresponding corner of the car. Clean with a coathanger as needed.

A/C Evap Drain, Remove the passanger side center console panel, one screw and one quarter turn thingy. Look for the Z shaped rubber hose, remove it, have towels handy, clean it thouroughly , its likely filled with nasty crud, the bottom of the tube has a split valve design that typically needs a little help from a pair of scissors to prevent clogging.
