Is it easy to bleed the breaks on a 240? Do I need a second person to do the job? How is it done?

Also is it easy to replace the front pads?

Replacing the front pads is a piece of cake, anyone reasonably mechanically inclined can do it. Personally, I think bleading the brakes is simple but lots of people here on the board have problems with it. My technique is to gravity-bleed the old fluid out (just open all the bleeding nipples and let the fluid drain into a pan), then I use a $2 brake-bleeding check-valve from autozone attached to some $0.25 vacuum hose to fit on the bleeding nipples and then force-bleed each nipple on the car, one at a time until all the air bubbles are out. It works by putting the vacuum hose on the nipple, the check valve in a jar, and then pumping the brake pedal from inside the car. Just make sure you don't ever run the master cylinder out of fluid, during gravity or forced bleeding. Others will recommend a pressure bleeder but I think they are an unnecessary expense.
