power steering pump bolt 780 700

Well thanks for the help..my timing belt, seals was a huge success on my 1989 780 turbo. The only problem I am encountering is getting a new belt on the power steering pump. I cant budge the nut that goes into the long bolt that is attached to the bracket that is attached to the engine. Is it 1/2 or 13 mm. I bought a new box end wrench..13 mm but it was with like 12 points..so it just slipped. Do they make 13 mm bolts a that are six points like 1/2 inch sockets. This might give me a better crack at it..thanks...Leo

Yes, Virginia, they do make six point box wrenches.

FWIW, I can get to that bolt on my B230FT using a 3/8" air wrench and a six point socket. Dunno how to do it if you have a V6 PRV engine. I highly recommend a set of 3/8" metric six point sockets and a ratchet if you don't have an air wrench/compressor.

It may help to take off the splash shield under the engine and do it from below.
