Found this little gem last night. It was in the May 2002 issue of Petersen's 4WD and OFF ROAD magazine. (www.4wheeloffroad.com, hope they don't get mad at me for borrowing it!)
I guess that's one way to get an AWD 240....

BTW the advertisers in this mag list a Dana 30 Detroit True Trac for $339.
Anybody running one in real life?

The magazine is right. It doesn't look like much fer sure...not much better than a couple of the things I see running around here. There is the Fiat 124 Spyder with the eye-level door handles. There is the early 50s Anglia with the snow plow. Not to mention a half dozen or so El Caminos, Cutlass convertibles and anything else that a sick welder can get his hands on.
