floor mats 900 1995

Anybody now how to remove the little carpet clips under your heal as you set in the car? I want to put rubber mats down. Also, where can I get rubber mats in the form of trays. IPD does not have them for this car! Dave W.

Volvo is trying to get rid off their stock of floor mats (they only got grey though) and are much cheaper than at IPD (Can you believe it!!!). They are $39 for a complete set!!

I also tried to get mats for my 940T and when I got them they did not fit. I had to returned them. Turner Volvo in Sacramento CA (916 972 7575) told me that Volvo is listing the same part number (i.e., floor mats) for the 200, 700, and 900 series. The only problem is that they are only good for the 240. You can give them a call if you'd like.

I bought front anr rear set of rubber trays form IPD for my 94' 945T and they fit just fine, after years of dragging in snow and mud on my old 240 I went to these mats and they work great, they look good and keep the carpet from mildew and rot

As I stated before IPD does not have trays for this car, there catalog may say they fit up to 95, but itshould state- thru 94. I now that the these trays can be made to work but I would rather have proper trays. My real question is How do I get the clips that are installed in the "permenant carpet" out? when you turn them - that is the whole mechanism and not just the top part- they just float in the breeze. I just checked on IPD and found the *plastic* floor trays/mats... Says they have a lip to keep dirt/fluids from spilling onto the carpet. Only come in black. Would these be sufficient?

If they are the same a 1991 series, they just screw into the carpet. A few counterclockwise turns and out they come.

P.S. If they are the kind that you drop the metal grommet over the top and twist 1/4 (one quarter) turn to lock in place, I'll take them off your hands if the price is right.

And this car would be a what...?

I've actually never seen the clips, as all my cars had the carpet mats unattached. I've noticed on the trays I just received for my 97 V90, there are brackets to be used on the front trays. I've not had time to see how the attach, but they do attach to the seat end.

If, by the remote chance you are looking for taupe trays for the 960 series (or any of the 700/900 series in that color), I posted a note earlier that the dealer who ordered my trays first ordered taupe instead of grey. He can't return them as a special order, so he's willing to sell them at a good cost.
Email me for a name and phone number.
