Am I the only person from Toledo, Ohio who logs onto this page? Any other Volvo fans in NW Ohio besides the guy I bought mine from. I am looking for connections for trading parts and for advice, reliable reapir shops, etc. Anyone runing anything intersting? I know there is at least one guy who shows his 1800 at Parkway Plaza on Fridays every once and a while. Nobody's up at Milan Dragstrip this year. SCCA, where? I guess I'm on my own.

    I'm from Bluffton, a bit less than 1 hour south on I-75. However, I'm up at school in Waterloo, Ontario, which is about 4 hours from toledo. I have yet to find good volvo service in the area...partly why I do all of my own now. I haven't looked around toledo much though...I just have an '86 240DL, being in college i'm a little poor to have multiples. keep on brickin!

    Ben,

    I am from Toledo. I have owned 4 high milage Volvos (2 purchased new) and currently have an 86 740 and 91 940 turbo, both with about 200k. I do almost all my own work. My son has a 90 240 that I service for him. I gave away my first (1982 240) to a guy for parts and he just had it towed to the bone yard a couple of weeks ago. I have a few parts I took from it.

    Good to hear from someone so close.
