The subject line says it all. A friend in DC reacquired a 745 from a son and it needs a fair amount of attention. DC/MD/VA ok. Thanks.

Volvo Independent Service, Owner Joe Cupp, 2720 Pittman Dr. Silver Spring, MD 301-587-6998 was fair with me and prompt.

I was going to mention that one also. (see my reply also). I have also heard good things about the place on Pittman. I would tell people that I finally found a good Volvo place and they would mention that place. (They have been around a lot longer.)

Amazing! It took me years to find a good Volvo mechanic and there are two of them within a block of each other.

Honest and good, especially with 200 and 700 series. Only minus (for me) is they faithfully use Volvo parts, which can get expensive, when other replacements are better and cheaper. (Owner says he's been burned too many times.)

Two shops wanted to replace my ECU. He said that it didn't seem right and found a shorted wire under the dash. That actually means he can think and troubleshoot--a rare set of skills these days.
