Engine Stumble 900 1992

'92 965 with 160K: I was easing along in heavy stop and go today, when, as I lifted my foot off the gas, to applay the brake, the engine stumbled, semi-violently - as if to stall, then continued as normal, perhaps with some modest rpm oscillation. Then returned to normal. No idiot lights or other indication of issues. Anybody got any ideas? Should I have my favorite Volvo indepenent garage look at it, or wait 'till it breaks?

Just a guess but is the idle valve the original. It may be time to clean it out.
