Dave Barton lists $400 for my 87 turbo. Is there anyplace cheaper for a new OE harness? I couldn't find anything in FAQ.
I got 5 yrs out of my patch job and I think the old wagon deserves new wires.
165,000 miles in five years and never let me down!

A used replacement harness is a better idea if you worried about the money. I picked up a harness for my '86 740 at the local U-Pull-it Junkyard for $15!!!
It was a like new Volvo replacement harness. The way you can tell, aside from
the obvious like new appearance of the wires, is that there is a band of yellow tape at several points in the harness to remind you where the bracketing points are. If I were you I would take your time and look around. You might strike gold like me!!!!!!!!
