Antisway bar compatibility between years?? 700

Hello Bricksters,

I was wondering if the rear anti-sway bars from any production year 744T would fit my 1989 744GL? If they do fit, then why does IPD offer different swaybars (with the same diameter) for different years of production of the 740?

PS. Are there noticable differences in upgrading the front swaybar endlink bushings to Poly-urethane considering that I have the originals still on the car?

When I asked IPD why the swaybars for my 745 petrol Turbo were cheaper than those for my diesel turbo, they replied that the difference is not the in the bar but in the brackets supplied.
