Some of the night lights on the switches on the left side of the steering column are out. How do I fix this?

Yank driver's side knee panel off. Look up at switches and find the light bulb. One light bulb lights them all on that side. Light bulb in hand, go to dealer or parts place and ask for a replacement. Wet pants at ridiculous price for one stupid light bulb. Put bulb back into socket. Replace knee panel. Enjoy your insanely expensive newly relit dash.

If I understand you correctly, I don't believe you have to pull the knee panel. It seems like you are refering to the toggle switches that can be popped out. IF they are the same as the 97 model, they will have a white base and will rotate about a quarter turn to release. The bulbs are expensive.

you dont have to open the knee panel. there is a plastic trim around those switches. pry it out carefully with a small screw driver. you will see the bulbs. there are three bulbs there. one lights the green bulb when you turn the knob. 2nd one is always on when you start the car and third one is which lights up power antena and oher switches. i replaced them on my 92 960 few months back.

Oops! It is a panel ight 900

Sorry! Isn' t it strange that I thought my '92 was the same as my V90.... It looks like you'll have to remove that trim panel and change the lights.

I'm actually not sure. I thought the '92 960 had the same kind of interior as the 940, which uses one bulb for each side of the switch panel?
