960 Oil around rear spark plug 900 1997

I'm doing some maintenance and changing the spark plugs. It looks like oil may be seeping out of the filler cap, and so I see some signs of leaking here and there - not bad though (it never ends up on the floor), and this small pool of oil around the 6th plug, just around the top, not down in with the plug.

Has any had or seen this particular symptom / clue? I've looked at the FAQs and I wonder that if you've had a similar problem, what was your cure?

I recently saw oil leakage around my fill cap (97 965) and replaced the flat seal on the filler cap. That has taken care of the leakage.

You also might want to replace the flame trap, if that hasn't been done on the car yet.
