knocking in rear after shock change

I put the boge turbo shocks in about a month ago. Been rattling back there every since. I pulled them earlier today, but I didnt see what could be causing the noise. I torqued everything good, I still have the knocking. What am i missing here? There is nothing obvious that i can see.

Thanks

Lawrence

Had a similar problem on a 242GT not long ago. My problem was the upper shock mount. The mount goes through the wheel arch and is held on the inside by a large nut. The nut is a little shallow and may be covered with undercoating. I got just a 1/2 turn on the nut and the thump went away.

I agree with Ian. I had this problem too. I thought I torqued everything enough, but I spent countless hours trying to figure it out.. I didn't tighten down the lower shock mounting bolt. Try it
