On a better note 700

Last night, around 2am, i took the liberty to find out what was wrong with my seat heaters. They have never worked once and the previous owner (3 years ago) never mentioned them working. After close examination and the removal of just about ever seat part, i tested each of the wires leading to the seat heater on the driver side (the most important one). Turns out, and once again, Volvo had my seat miswired. This also was the problem on my sunroof, the motor had been miswired. Anyway, the seat heater was receiving no ground. It looks like they hade wired the seat so that it relied on a non-existant ground...its hard to explain...just imagine a wire that leads no where. Anyway, i made a few cuts and rewired the heaters. Now they work. I even took a test drive at 3am to see how well. They do get pretty damn warm!

2am...I think that even beats my record for the "I gotta figure this out" Syndrome.

About 8 months ago, I thought it would be cool to tackle my stuck antenna at 12am. After opening the damn thing up twice, I got tired of the motor continuously running so I decided to stick my finger in it. The motor managed to tear off about 1/3 of an inch of my finger to the bone...just ripped it straight off along with the nail. I ran inside the house and alerted my mother who told me to sleep on it. The next day i went to the doctor to find out that it was gone for good.

Thought that would teach me, I guess not. Strange part was the it grew back...stupid doctors!

Nice to have on a night like last night.

I'm going to have to figure mine out sometime too. That leather's cold when you first get in.

Make sure your seat heating thermostats work, or your car
may burn up. I think your wiring was fine at one time.
Perhaps the prior owner was a bit advantureous and took on
more than he was capable of.
