Vibrations in steering collumn 200 1986

While driving around the other day I noticed that there was a (best word I can think of to describe it) resonation coming from the steering collumn/front of the car, but only when I turned right. Since then, it has become a little more frequent, appearing mainly when I move the wheel slightly to the right. Any ideas what this could be? Thanks.

If what you're getting is an inaudiable but feelable clicking AS you're turning the wheel, try lubing the u-joint in the column (turkey baster and slightly used 10W-30 worked fine for me). If the vibration keeps up after you're done turning the wheel, keep looking (probably on the outside-left wheel) for culprits. good luck.

Oh it is highly audible, thats why I am concerned (my car vibrates all the time all over the place). This time is was like a high pitched resonation, the kind you would get if you were to run your finger around the top of a wine glass when your finger was wet. I dont know if that helps at all.

Open up your power steering tank and check for bubbles. If there are bubbles have the system bled. Same thing happened to me, when I was turning both directions. It solved the problem immediately.
