Ok, so I'm def considering the Enem/Unitek V15 cam upgrade and wondering if anyone knows about Sam Steffansson's 240 ECU upgrade for the B230F. The description says with stock air filter and exhaust it yields a min of 150HP. So with the Unitek V15, mod airbox and filter, and sport exhaust, would this purchase (ECU) be worth it for the HP increase, or are we talking about an insane amount of money for this upgrade?? There seems to be some differences between SAM's Swedish and English page.

"Trimsats" translates as "tuning kit", "topplock" as "cylinder head" - not ECU. Which makes more sense considering the price, 1,200 USD. Even so, the introductory text refers in both languages to an ECU upgrade.

1987 240 GL 80K miles

I recently paid 1400$ for a Link ECU replacement for the ECU on my Miata. It only bumped the HP by 10 to 15, but it is required for the turbo that will go in later. So I wouldn't think 1200$ is out of line for an ECU, others like the Tech II and Tech III are about 1000$ more.

Man I take two years off of this board and now I find all these goodies are availabe for the 240
