have 87 740 turbo wagon and want to order brake pads through fcpgroton but all I know is service plate says type 3 DBA front ATE rear ,not sure what this means,plese advise. Happy Thanksgiving to all

Take a look at your calipers before calling as the name (Ate, Girling, whatever) is etched on the caliper body. Depending on your wheel type, you can often see it with a flash light without removing the wheel but removal may be necessary. Not uncommon to have one make front and a different one on the rear. Just did mine last week. Girling on the front and Ate on the rear.
