FM slow to arrive 900 1995

This is a factory AM/FM Cassette player in a 95 944. Reception for FM stations can take anywhere from 5 to 30 min. to arrive. AM has no trouble whatsoever. Other vehicles in house have no trouble with reception like this. Any guess as to what the problem is? Thx Mike 95 944 @ 131,000

    FM slow to arrive

"Any guess as to what the problem is?" How soon does your antenna go
up after you turn on the radio??? It normally has a few seconds delay and you don't get FM reception unless it is somewhat extended...Maybe delay timer is off and taking awhile to extend?????? Just my guess....

Antenna motor starts right up and antenna goes up. Did not know there was a delay timer of any type. There is no consistant delay happening. I'll be taking a look at what cb78 suggests to read in previous Threads. Thx Mike
