760 springs 200

Does someone posesse the knowledge of weather springs form a 85 760 D24t will fit a 240 model? I'm thinking of building a V8 240 and have found a 80s two door with some rust at a dealer lot, its been setting there for some time now and I'm sure they would be willing to sell it? Also are the any differencies between the 760 GLE and the 760 GLS supensions.
thanks
mitch

I know some change in 760..
I think the year 1985 (or was it 86?), they got multilink rear axle..

I dream about using 760 parts on a 240, as it is a wider car (more traction in curves)

Speaking of wider. I've heard that the rear axel has to be narrower than the front. Is that true? You always see people putting w i d e tires in the rear, and then you read that the rear has to be narrower, what gives?
