What's the average fuel economy for a nonturbo wagon? I've been getting 19mpg avg and that's about 75% highway. I know it's no Honda Insight, but I was expecting better than that. I already checked the airfilter, which is perfectly clean. I was thinking of checking the 02 sensor as well. Anything else I should check?

ok my 940t has horrible mpg (circa 20)(maybe something to do with my driving style as well...) but my brothers 740 na seems to give him upper 20's....he recons on a sorts steady 50mpg rural run to have clocked mid 30's...but I think that was a very light right foot

oh and hes running a manual box and no aircon which probably accounts for at least 7-12 mpg better in itself

hmm... I would love more MPG around 20.... I currently see from 11 to 20 (that's the absolute worst and best).... 20 was on a 240 mile trip...

However, I did notice a bit of carbon on my old intake valves....(although the ports look spotless)... after all the new parts and stuff I hope it runs a bit better...

if you are in an area where the fuel is reformulated during the winter, your gas mileage will go waaaaaaaaaay down. i took a 170 mile trip this past weekend and noticed my gas mileage was horrible. only around 21-22 for full highway when during other seasons, i averaged around 25-26MPG with pure highway driving.

Don't forget the tire size. If you don't have stock tires and wheels it will distort your readings. If your tires are a larger diameter than stock your odometer will read less and you will show poorer MPG when if fact you are getting better than what your odometer shows.
