GOODAFTERNOON TO ALL,

I SEEM TO BE HAVING DIFFICULTY WITH MY SRS LIGHT. I DID TRY TO GET THE DIAGNOSTIC CODE WITH THE FAQ'S PAGE HERE AND THE LIGHT DID NOT STAY OUT. i COUNTED 5 BLINKS OF THE LIGHT DURING THE TEST CODE AND 5 BLINKS IS NOT LISTED. WAS WONDERING IF ANY ONE ELSE HAS HAD THIS TROUBLE AND WHAT I NEED TO DO TO RESOLVE.

5. Common misinterpreted fault for the SRS system. The Volvo SRS systems almost NEVER need a new crash sensor, but new airbags someitmes. THat might be the code for defective airbag module. Usually follows a voltage drop (battery cables, grounds, whateva) and thereafter is parked on the dashboard. If it won't reset, it's replacement time. But it usually does. The system can be a little cranky when resetting the light. The FAQ details it.

Don't know the exact code. I had an SRS manual somewhere but it seems as if I've misplaced it.
