instrument cluster trim 900 1991

I have a 940T with an intermitent speedometer.I want to remove it, but havn't figured out how to remove the instrument surrond trim. it does have two small holes on either side on the trim facia. have checked the pick up at diff.

See the FAQ. You need to press down a flat spring with a screwdriver stuck through one slot, then pull like hell to get the trim panel out. Major pain. Grease it when you put it back in so it can be removed in the future with less grief.
