If you were doing this with instructions, what do they say about the blue wire?

If not, find susquehanna motorsports on the web - he sells lots of accessory lights, and has a guide to wiring them.

Was it a pair of Hella lights? On my set, blue=ground. i too had a wire leftover, but i think it was green(?) anyhoo, if your lights work ok then don't worry about it.

I'm taking a wild guess here, but could it be a disable signal wire to turn off the fogs if the high beams are on?????? I'm sure others will post to confirm.
