im looking for a front air dam for my 79 242. ipd does not make them any more and i was wondering if anyone knew of another place that still made them or where i could get one for my car. thanks

Start callign the junkyards. If you're lucky, you'll find a dead 242GT from 78-80 and you can get the nice big airdam off that. Shouldn't cost more than $20 I imagine.

Yes, the '78-79 air dam from the GT is the nicest one to look for, but the '80 GT has an ordinary air dam. Minor point, but one of the confounding downgrades to the GT in 80.

Junkyard or ebay, I reckon.

I'd sell mine's, 'cept it's a little late now, as I trimmed it down to fit the '74 bumper.
