mixing coolants??

I changed the thermostat in my 90-240 the other night. When I was all done, I added about 2 qts of prestone to volvo c coolant. Id forgotten that I hadnt yet converted this car to prestone. How worried should I be. Will I be ok with this mix for awhile. Or should I drain, flush and refill immediately?

Also, while we're on the subject: is there and easier way to drain coolant(without getting coolant all over the engine etc) than disconnecting the lower radiator hose. Its a real bear getting the hose loose in that little corner. Any ideas?

Thanks

Lawrence

You aren't going to kill the car with a mix of coolants.

To drain the coolant, use the block drain just above the oil pan under the #4 spark plug. I think it's a 15mm. You'll see the brass piece; just open it and open the coolant cap and turn heat to hot, and let it run out.
