directional signals 900

1993-945 shortly after i replaced the bulb out relay I developed a fast left directional blinker (front) with a nonfunctioning left rear signal. I switched bulbs and bulb was ok in rear. Right side directional is ok. No change when I replaced the directional relay... any suggestions ???

    I had this with my 1988 745 TDI. I bent the ground connector somewhat to make for better contact. No problems since.
