89 disributor what is the firing order! 700

Tried replacing my cap and rotor today. Yes tried. Freinds and family came over and I got distracted. Now I have totally forgotten the order for the spark plug wires. (yup forgot to right down!) Going from left to right can anyone please tell me the order that the wires go on!
I thought it was 1-3-4-2
Thanks in advance CJ

OK, a picture says it better than any explanation...

Scroll down to the 12th picture (engine bay)

OK, it's 1-3-4-2, going from front to rear of the engine. Standing in front of the car, consider the back if the car as North. Then the #1 wire goes into the lower left place, I would call it southwest.

#2 in the southeast, #3 in the northeast, and #4 in the northwest.

There is a very good explanation on page 280-6 in the Bentley manual. Don't you have one? Or at least a Haynes manual? There are several Haynes available on eBay.

Good Luck,

Bob

Looking at the distributor from the front of the car,
it is left-to-right: 4-3-1-2, and cyl. #1 is the one closest to the radiator.

good Luck,
JJ
