Simplest way to set base mixture? b21ft 200 1985

Hi, well I think my mixture is way off now since I replaced the oxygen sensor, so what's the easiest and simplest way for me to reset it? Is the way the Bentley lists it, to take off the fuel distibuter and pop out the little adjustment screw block and turn on the fuel pump and make it spit out just a slow amount? TIA

    Close,
You only take off one of the fuel lines, not the whole distributor. With the pump jumpered turn the 3mm allen screw 'till the fuel just comes out, then about another 1/4 turn. This sets the base fuel pressure, then follow the instructions for setting base idle. I've found if you are running a little extra boost you may need to go more than 1/4 turn.
