I have a 1990 240 GL. Lately, whenever I attempt to turn the steering wheel, it is very difficult. I checked the power steering fluid and it is FULL. What else could be causing this problem?

    how many miles are one car and how old is it? I have a '88 that was like that when i bought it, then I did a PS flush and it turns like new. Crudy fluid can hinder operation. I would try a simple/cheap job like that first. If you need instructions, let me know.

    Did you check the belt?
