Warning light upgrade amazon P131 120-130

Hi,

I want to "upgrade" my amazon P131 (1963) with a warning light. Has anyone got information (diagram???) on the best way to do this?

It could be as simple as adding a double pole switch to connect the left and right side and the blinker relay, but I wonder if the original relay can handle both sides and why all switches for this purpose are single pole....

Anyone????

Arno;

If you are referring to what's called an "Emergency or Four-way Flashers" here in the US, it's a very good idea to do that upgrade. Installation is straightforward. I prefer to use the OE 140 style switches to do this. The knobs have a built-in indicator and they match the rest of the 120 switches very nicely.

See details at: http://www.intelab.com/swem/emergflash.htm

Cheers
