Powder coating 200 1981

Has anyone had any experience with having parts powder coated? I am refinishing power mirrors and found a place that will coat them for $20. The only thing I need to determine is the level of gloss desired (40%, 90%, 0%). I am leaning towards the 40% (not having seen the samples yet). How about opinions on doing this and gloss level from fellow bricksters?

Thanks,
Jeff

Ask about the UV resistance of the coating!
some powder coatings are spec'd for outside use.

The powder coating is spec'd for outdoor use, and is 40% gloss. It appears to be identical to non-sun exposed areas of original finish. I'll post in a week or so to let everyone know how it turns out.
