Electronic igniton conversion results. 140-160

Hello.
A week ago, I converted my teacher's pajero to get rid of the points using Toyota parts. So yesterday, I went to the wrecker and bought myself a toyota 5K distributor. Today I installed the stuff into the bosch dizzy... all works well, engine runs great. (It was almost a perfect fit... except that I had to turn the distributor shaft cams; to make them round. 14.30mm)
I will have a write up done in a few days and also pictures on it... I will post the web address when I'm done.
(Although I think an aftermarket kit would be much easier... but I can't get hold of that stuff here... and used toyota distributors are so cheap here.)

Pajero = threshing machine? One who makes or sells straw??

Maybe by extension, rice burner?

Anyway, congratulations! Sounds like a worthy effort.
I'm eager to see what you did.

Hello...

That's the site... (takes a while to load...big pics...)
BTW: Opps... I meant a Mitsubishi Pajero... (4wd ute) Looks quite high-tech from the out-side... but it has got a carb and also points ignition.
