does anybody know the approx. weight of the metal hood and fenders on the 240?

I have located them in their fiberglass version and I am wondering if the modification, expense and workwise, is worth it.

I'd really like to rehabilitate my francophone skills and hate having to use franglais with missing accents, incorrect characters. Do you use a french language keyboard with different layout than english language one, special software, or do you hold down "alt" key while entering a three or 4 digit number? The latter will work on my setup, PC is from '97. ALT 0231 gives ç for example. Not a speedy method....

My '83 245, originally from California, will need fenders sooner or later after all the salt it's seen over the last 4+ yrs. in Ohio. Where did you hear about the fiberglass stuff?
