Engine MOunts on my first Volvo (1987 740 Turbo) 700 1987

Hey All,

I just bought a 1987 740 Turbo Wagon with 360,000 km and a 4 + OD manual transmission. The inside and under the hood are in decent shape but the exterior has some rust.

Of the repairs I have to do, one major one is the engine mounts. These are the hydraulic ones. Are there any decent aftermarket rubber ones I can use instead?

I am also happy to get any suggestions on making the outside as pretty as the inside.

In this province, just washing the salt of your car will make a tremendous improvement.
Regarding the mounts, unless you have a cheap source for the "other" style brackets necessary for the rubber mounts, you're probably better off just replacing the hydraulic mounts with the same. They really do make the car luxurious.
