I need to add a couple switches to the car. I am planning on using the existing spots to do this but am unsure where to get switches that match the originals in appearence. Anyone have any ideas. 95 960. Thanks.

I saw a rocker switch at Lowe's in the electrical section that looked awfully similar to a Volvo switch - it might be worth trying since many OEM manufacturers repackage their stuff for other retail markets. It was only a couple of bucks -

I have purchased several switches for my 240 and one switch for my 940 on ebay. I always pay under $10. Sure beats searching the junkyards.

Can we assume these switches are gong to be attached to something functional or are you just going for the look?!? ;>)

I will, of course, assume the former, so it sorta depends on what you have attached to the switches. And , your choice may depend on the car you have. For example, tthe foglight switches between the 92 (960) and the 97 (V90) are different, but both operate the front and rear fogs. Foglight kits come with a swtich, so that may or may not work.

In general, it's best to salvage from a demised Volvo, but once in a while you may have to bite the bullet and go to the dealer to get exactly what you want. Don't know whether there is any universality among the differnt models; e.g 240, 700, 900, especially for fit.
