Injector mv rdg._ homemade breakout box 700 1991

1. I was checking the running mv across 1 injector on my 91- 740 wgn. (B230FT, Bosch MFI) it was 50-60mv, my Volvo manual says it should be 200-400mv. Will this be a future problem? Car runs great.

2. Has anyone made a breakout box for testing pin out signals from ECU's for MFI & DI modules? If so what did you use. They're avail aftermarket only for $500-900, ouch.

Cheers

Use an ocilloscope instead. You can see the signal, its voltage and duty cycle.

If you are careful, you can access the back of the connector for direct read using a DVOM. The break out boxes merely make it a little simpler, using a connector and conductive pads compared to touching the back of each connector while it is wired up. Just don't short out any.
