One seat rail stuck on passenger side electric seat. 900 1995

All of the electrical controls work on the passenger side. However, the right side rail is stuck so the seat will not go forward or back on the right side. Only the left side of the seat moves forward. Is this a cable that is broken? If that is a tough fix is there some way that I can manually move the seat forward a bit? It is stuck all the way in the back position leaving little leg room for the rear passengers.

I had a similar problem and it turned out to be the cable for that side of the track, it seems that the inside square cable's end gets rounded and no longer turns the gears for the track. Others on the board were able to shorten the outer cable cover so the inner cable would become longer. I had limited tools, and was running out of time, so I inserted into the motor shaft a small piece of metal to force the inner cable to travel into the the gear side further and allow the square faces to make contact with the gear.

Is there something jammed in the rail? When I bought my 945T, the driver's seat was jammed up with change (quarters, dimes, nickles). I removed the seats, and recovered more than 5 dollars worth of change (no exageration) from in and around the seats -- and most of it was pennies.

I cleaned up the rails, and lubed them while I had the seats out. Everything has worked great ever since.
