Years ago I actually scrounged a set of 140 part microfiches from a Volvo dealer. Don't know if the numbers would still be valid or not. Maybe I could find a service to convert to print but that would probably be $$$.

Is there any way to procure a printed or CD parts catalog with break-down diagrams and current numbers?

Hey Al - What year is your 140? I have the entire parts catalog for the 140 series from 67-72 on a CD. The files are split up by the sections of the catalog and it is all in WORD document format. Let me know if this would be useful to you and maybe we could work something out for a copy.

The great parts source www.gcp.se has many of these microfiches scanned and online. The parts numbers haven't changed.

The part numbers will not have changed. You'd just call Volvo parts with the numbers you're looking for and they'll tell you if it's still an available part. They've got it all online on their computer system. Probably still a ton of 140-164 parts kicking around a warehouse somewhere....
